News from the Caracal Camp

The Caracals are currently in their element as the grass is extremely long in their enclosure which means that they can play hide and seek from the volunteers when they come to feed them and take them for walks. Yoda is particularly fond of trying to blend into the undergrowth and then shoot out and steal other caracals food at feeding time.

As always the walks with the caracals are eventful, with Medusa often running away and having to be tracked with her radio collar! She does like to keep everyone on their toes!

 

Poor Godiva has recently been having fits which we suspect may well be epilepsy and we are just waiting for confirmation of this from the vet. Fortunately this is easily treatable with medication so Godiva should be back on form very soon.
